More! More! Moore! - FV1

The kit is supplied with an unfinished die cast enclosure as normal. Not black painted.

I'm stopping selling this as a full kit but do have a few PCB's left which I will offer for a while longer.

The More! More! Moore! is a FV-1 based modulation kit. It has three independent effects, Boost, Chorus and Reverb, each can be used independently or all three can be mixed together. The chorus channel is swirly, the reverb is hall styleee and depending on the mix level goes from subtle to intense, and the boost channel is really nice providing a good amount of grit to the input of the amp. My tube amp happily received the boost.

The sounds within are designed with the 1980’s era in mind. There are three controls, one per channel. Think of each pot is a simple mix pot for its own effect. Each channel has an on/off DPDT toggle to engage them.

There are two different difficulty levels, if you have experience soldering surface mount parts then this kit is fairly straight forwards. If you dont then the FV1 chip is a challenge. If you are going to take on the challenge of soldering the chip yourself then I recommend ordering yourself a very cheap surface mount practice kit from ebay or similar to test yourself with. The FV1 is a very expensive part itself, so you do not want to practice on it.

You can add pre-soldering of the FV1 to your kit here, only available when shown as in stock though! Soldered, tested and certified by our resident JP expert.

The FV1 and EEPROM work together, the EEPROM contains the individual programmes that the FV1 reads. So both are required to enable this project to work. Therefore the minimum option to choose is the PCB, EEPROM and FV1 option, should you not have any.

When complete, the project is everything you could wish for in a top quality modulation pedal. It provides excellent ambience or out there lunacy. Its feature packed, versatile and enhances whatever you feed into it and adds various different tonal flavours to your mix and I believe it will be an excellent choice for musicians of all types including synthers! I've heard videos where its used on bass too.

The board is spaced for PCB mounted toggles and pots. It fits in one of our JP1590BB cases.

These projects are as new to me, as they are to you. Therefore I am learning as I go. I will test all EEPROMs work before I send them to ensure accuracy with the progamming. FV1's are already being cloned and fakes exist. Ours are from a legit source as you would expect.
