Jeds Peds Limited, hereafter referred to as the “Company”, is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection and privacy laws. This notice explains how the Company collects and processes personal and non-personal data collected through our website https://www.jedspeds.co.uk/, hereafter referred to as the “Site”, and through any third parties used by the Site.

The Site uses a webform to allow visitors to contact the Company. Analytic Tools

When you visit the Site, the Analytic Tools that we use may automatically collect certain information from your device, including but not limited to: IP address (anonymized), device type, screen resolution, browser information, operating system information, clicks and interactions on the site (e.g., clicks, scrolls, and form interactions), session duration, and pages visited. This information is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies.

The Analytic Tools that we use does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII), such as your name, address, phone number, or email address

Residents of the European Union (EU) / European Economic Area (EEA)

Information captured by Wix may be stored in Data Centers around the world.  Any transfer to a third country outside the European Union - which does not ensure an adequate level of protection according to the European Commission - will be undertaken in accordance with the current and updated set of Standard Contractual Clauses, as approved by the European Commission. These terms are set out in the Wix Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

Information captured by the Analytic Tools is governed by their policies found above.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16 though, as we don’t gather personal data pertaining to a visitor’s age, we cannot prevent minors from accessing the Site.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit information via the Site, your information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way.  You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar of your web browser and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of each web page. Our data in transit encryption uses HTTPS, TLS 1.2+ and automatic SSL, while data at rest uses AES-256, the strongest encryption standard commercially available.

Any information that is collected and retained by Wix is protected through their processes and procedures documented by their Security articles.  In brief, Wix employs full-time security experts and uses advanced security tools to locate and eliminate security issues.  They also perform regular internal security audits to maintain ISO/PCI Compliance and TLS Certification.

The Site contains links to other websites.  We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other sites.  All links to other websites will open in a new browser tab and we encourage our Site visitors to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.
