Heartbreaker - High Pocket

The High Pocket is based on the signature sound of Jimmy Page performing at the Royal Albert Hall in 1970.

The High Pocket kit captures the overdrive sound of the Hiwatt amplifiers used by Jimmy Page at the show. This pedal kit has controls just like any amplifier. You have 5 pots - gain, treble, middle, bass and master volume. This one is incredibly responsive to playing dynamics, after all Page’s performance at this show is one of his greatest and most moving moments as an artist. We all know how he expressed himself masterfully, filling the famous hall with a broad pallet of tones.

They key to getting the sound just right though is using the volume control on your guitar to clean up your signal when needed. The High Pocket cleans up so very well and is far from a one tricky overdrive pony.

The circuit cascades stages of BS170's through the 3 stage tone stack. As builds go its not complicated. I've added a trimmer to the circuit which isnt featured on the original. It brings an extra layer of versatility.

The kit features our DIY friendly layout and board design, detailed PDF build guide, top quality parts and the availability of our leading build support forum! It comes with one of our JP125B enclosures and the board is designed for ‘right angled’ pots.  All this combines to give you a great chance of success.

You also have the choice of side or top mounted jacks and power socket on this one. You have to ask yourself when the goodness will ever end with JedsPeds #blushing.
