War Charriot
War Charriot is a plexi in a box pedal kit. It claims to be The King of said British type amps in a box and there's no smoke without fire. This is one hell of a pedal!
The amp like nature of this wonderful little box is created by Jfets. Thru hole Jfets are an endangered species. This kit is supplied with surface mount JFETS. They are small but far from impossible to solder. If I can do it with my KC eyes, then anyone can. Should you wish to ge tthe SMD Fets pre soldered to the board, then you can do here.
The board is spaced for good old right angled pots so it gives you a nice neat finish in the JP125B enclosure it fits inside, it features our DIY friendly layout and board design, detailed PDF build guide, top quality parts and the availability of our leading build support forum!
Its a lot of kit for the money, and its not really that hard. There's nothing special about the build process here, there are just quite a few parts to identify.
