Brittania

Presenting The Britannia, a fully redesigned adaptation of the AC-30 for use as a guitar pedal which has been optimized for playing into a clean solid-state amp

For a full breakdown of the effect please view - www.runoffgroove.com. Theres a lot of info here!

This is a big circuit. It has a lot of parts. Transistor biasing is essential so you will need a multi meter. The board takes surface mount and through hole jfets. Should you want the surface mounted fet's presoldering to the board, you can here.

The kit is supplied with a JP1590BB sized enclosure. The kit is difficult to put together, new builders with an in depth understanding of electronics could complete this build but we've given this a 7/10 rating for a reason! The PCB has been re designed and is very conveniently laid out for putting a difficult circuit together.

I did a good job here, a fantastic kit, a very neat PCB layout, larger solder pads to encourage good soldering and dual Jfets for either thru hole or surface mounting. This kit will be supplied with surface mount fets, so get your tweezers ready!

  • This kit compares to the Brittania designed by Runoffgroove.
