Pearl Necklace

Pearl Necklace

The Pearl Necklace is our take on the ultra-rare Pearl Warp Sound, a Japanese oddity from the ‘70s made famous decades later by Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine. Heard smeared across the track “Sometimes” on Loveless, this pedal is far from your average fuzz or drive. It's weird. It's textural. It hums with filth and filters.

At its core, the Pearl Necklace is a static resonant low-pass filter paired with a wonderfully rude, scrappy distortion. Think cocked-wah meets broken amp, with a resonance knob that lets you park your tone right in the sweet (or sour) spot. The original was two knobs and a hidden trimmer, but we’ve brought that filthy distortion control to the front where it belongs.

This isn’t your go-to overdrive. It’s a flavour enhancer, a noise sculptor, and a feedback playground. Run synths through it. Stack it after another fuzz. Or slap it in front of a clean amp and go full Shields.

Medium difficulty, and guaranteed to raise eyebrows when someone asks what’s on your board.

Fits a JP125B enclosure, as always. Ready to shape-shift ?
