Bird Strike Double Preamp

 
The Sullenberger's big bro has landed. The Bird Strike is a double channelled, dual footswitch monster, inside a 125B case.

At its heart its still a transformer coupled germanium based preamp.  Low or high gain is selected by the second footswitch, and there are four toggles. Two volumes and  a low cut and gain pot. There are two internal trim pots to set the gain level of the low and high channels which really does make this quite a versatile box of tricks.
 
I forgot to mention, the charge pump can be internally bypassed, should you wish to run it at 9v. 
 
The board is designed to take right angled pots which will be supplied at no extra cost if stocked. If not you will need to wire them in place.
 
This kit fits a JP125B enclosure. It is suitable to an intermediate level builder.
