I can hear you from Morton, Yet Another J** Clone, yeah yeah... ok ok!

This one's a bit different though. You need huge feet to trully understand it. This is one of the better distortion come overdrive pedals that were released in 2020.  Heck, not really much good happened in 2020 so maybe its one of the better things of the year - who knows!

Paul Gilberts signature tones are apparently captured in this circuit. Its is designed to be tweakable. Again, just like an amp channel. It has controls for volume, drive, push, tone, mid, and mid-freq. The latter two mids controls interact, with the mid-freq control used to set the frequencies of the mid knob controls, from 400Hz to 7.5kH.

I found the Push control reall interesting.  It controls the amount of gain that goes into the circuit's FET amplifier, opening up a diverse range of overdrive and distortion flavours.

There's so many different tones inside this little box! Great stuff indeed.

The kit features our DIY friendly layout and board design, detailed PDF build guide, top quality parts and the availability of our leading build support forum! It comes with one of our JP125B enclosures and the board is designed for ‘right angled’ pots.  All this combines to give you a great chance of success.

As the circuit calls for 3x Jfets, and the world is casually running out of thru hole fets, I have added pads for surface mounted Jfets, which is what the kit will include. Should you wish to get the SMD Jfet's presoldered to the board, then you can do here.

Top mounted jacks and power socket on this one. You have to ask yourself when the goodness will ever end with JedsPeds #blushing.
